Please join us for a virtual monthly grief support group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one within the past two years. The group meets on the 4th Monday of each month from 7:30-9:00 pm and is co-sponsored by Anshe Emet Synagogue, Anshe Sholom B’nai Israel, Emanuel Congregation, Mishkan Chicago, Chicago Sinai Congregation, and Temple Sholom of Chicago.

Led by Ben Goldberger, EMDR Basics will provide an overview of the process of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) from assessment through various potential treatment paths. This Lunch & Learn will cover the background of EMDR, approaches to case formulation, preparing clients for the process, and varieties of EMDR processes and tools. We will also learn about some of the many applications and populations for this unique and powerful therapeutic tool.
