This drop-in grief support group is for older adults who have experienced the death of a spouse or partner within the last two years. The group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, 10:30am -12:00 pm. Supported by the Lauri S. Bauer Foundation for Sudden Loss. If you'd like to become a naturalized U.S. citizen, attend this 12-week series to prepare for the citizenship test in a small, online group. Content includes American history, civics, speaking, and reading and writing in English. The first class introduces the course and materials. Learners in this course will get an overview of the clinical indications for engaging this model. They will learn relevant definitions and how integrate this model into their practice. Using real case examples, sessions will focus on not only diagnostic and symptom considerations, but the PRACTICE acronym and tangible activities that providers can engage in with clients. Participants will be able to bring in their own cases as well, to explore ways that this model can be used in their offices.
