Special Education Laws: An Overview for Parents, Guardians and Professionals

  • 11am-12pm

Our presenters Attorneys Tracy Hartlieb and Cera Horste will provide a primer for parents and others who care for and work with students with disabilities to better understand the rights provided in order to advocate for their children. Parents will learn how to advocate whenever the need arises, whether at an annual IEP meeting, after receiving an IEP progress report or when their child is beginning school or nearing the end of their educational experience. We will provide practical tips, answer questions and offer suggestions that can be helpful to you and your children and those you serve as they move through their educational career.

This event is free and open to the public. Continuing education credits are available for QIDP's. *Session may be recorded.
