Hearts, Minds, and Heavy Breathing
Response for Teens believes in the power of young people to take charge of their health and make positive change for their communities. They are the best advocates for the health and wellbeing of their peers. Each summer, we work with a group of interested young people, 14-18, and help them learn how to advocate and become peer activists in the areas of healthy relationships, mental health and sexual health
- Participants will take deep dives into the topics, bust myths, and learn how peer advocacy can bring about change.
- Activities will include field trips to organizations where participants can engage in meaningful discussions and projects, plus other summer fun!
Activities will convene at Response for Teens’ new office at 5140 Golf Road, Skokie.
Transportation will be provided for field trips. Activities will take place at outdoor and indoor locations, following all CDC safety guidelines.
July 11th – 15th, 9:30am - 3:30pm.
